Week 1, May 5 to May 11.

We started school a bit early this year as the Thai school rules will change soon to a school start date on the first of May.

We didn’t have all the books yet, so this week was heavily on the technical side of the curriculum.

Math.

Place values in numbers up to a thousand and comparisons of these numbers and sorting from high to low and opposite.

Skip counting in 2 5 10 100 up and down. Adding and subtracting within a value of a thousand but we are in the middle of this chapter.

This was a lot of pages, the reason being that we are actually somewhat past this point from last year where we actually studied some leve 3 math. We are going through this book to see if she has missed something.

Science and Technology.

Started and read the beginning of the book about thinking like a scientist. Making sort criteria and such.

Technology.

Almost finished the whole book as we have gone through all this material last year or before that using the spike prime and other tools plus general parenting.

How to follow a sequence of commands and write these and find mistakes (debugging). What information you can share publicly and what should not. File types on a computer. General structured thinking.

Thai.

Ended up reading half of ภาษาพาที, the reason being that she also here last year has gone through this.

Home economics.

Help mommy making Spring rolls. Cut the carrot , cabbage then fried it on the pan , then roll them.

Exercise.

  • 2 hours of Wado Karate at CMU on Monday.
  • 1.25 hours of Wado Karate at Ban Wangtang on Saturday
  • Wednesday and Thursday running or walking fast 2.8 kilometers.
  • Friday swimming lessons and pool swimming 1.5 hours.
